The Guarasci Exchange Program

My stay in Canada was the best. I arrived sad because my 16th birthday was the next day. The Guarasci Family made a special surprise for my special day, of an amazing party for me only I could have gotten at home. This took away my fears and sadness and I realized I was home. Thank you for being my second family I love you all dearly I am proud to have been hosted by the best family and I am honoured to now represent your program in Brazil. Good luck and I will be back bringing all my friends and residence of my city in Brazil.

When you pick me up to take me to your home I felt homesick for my family. But you talk to me even though my English not good you made me feel special. You make me laugh and gave me so many wonderful memories. I could not imagine to have a more loving caring family then you all during my learning in Canada. Thank you for giving your heart and love to me and being my parents when mine were so far away. Japan is my home but you are my Canadian home and family I will love forever. I see you again someday I promise.

I am very excited to have met such a fine and sophisticated program as yours with the many to choose from in Canada. To bring a group as large as I did to your program at such short notice to you, I was very pleased with the professionally run program that was co-ordinated by you.

As busy as you were you still had time to spend with each and every one of my group of quality time and knowing all of them by name on the second day of arrival. Everyone was happy with their stay and very pleased with the homestay provisions you offered to them through your program. To also have met your relatives and them treat us all as family you gave a very personal touch to your program. I am looking forward to sharing this wonderful experience with many more groups I bring in the future. Thank you for your hospitality, and memorable experience.

I come February 2004 in Canada for education of english as second language study , I took classes to

Saint Johns Institute and now University program to start my study to english .

I love Canada very much for sure this is a good place to live , there are many wonderful people here

and I miss my family very much in Brasil , but I have a wonderful family in Canada who love me very much too!!!! I hope to do many great things with my life here .... IM still here a year later May 24 2005

I WAS HERE IN 1999 TO STUDY IN HIGHSCHOOL I WAS HERE JUST A DAY BEFORE MY 16TH BIRTHDAY

WHEN THE GUARASCI FAMILY SURPRISED ME WITH A BIG PARTY TO MAKE ME FEEL HAPPY AND APART OF THE FAMILY BECAUSE I WAS HOMESICK ... WELL HERE IAM I ARRIVED BACK WITH THE GANG IN FEBRUARY 2004 4 YEARS LATER .... ( I SAID I WOULD BE BACK ) I completed my Hotel Management at school in Brasil to return here to Canada to complete University level 5 ESL and begin courses in Hotel Management here .... Why ??? Because Iam gonna be successful someday right here in Canada !

I remember once upon a time back when I was just 16 a special family told me that I could be anything I set my mind to being and that if I had a dream , always believe that dreams do come true if you allow them to ! My dream was to return to Canada and be successful get educated and be successful !

For 4 years we emailed and talked on the phone on holidays they never forgot about me I never forgot about them ... One thing I can say about the Guarasci Family and there program is this , no one who is sincere no one, who is a true hard working student that is always willing to learn is ever forgotten , those who try hard to achieve there goals and really are serious about wanting to succeed The Guarasci program will do everything to support and assist to the best they can to make your dreams happen for you and you are never forgotten ,.... I know this and so do many others who have experienced there loyalty and love and dedication , students come back after 2 ,3, 4 years I know cause Ive seen some of them again ... its a great feeling . Ive been back twice this time around I will be here for a long time to study ... my words of advise to students thinking to study abrode .......

Not everyone is exspected to like Canada nor like a program they have enrolled in or the people that run it , not everyone will have a good experience in a house they stayed at or a school they attended, there will always be someone out there that has something negative to say one way or another , but what you need to keep in mind is this : those who say something negative its there loss they had a bad experience dont let what others say cloud your judgment from you having an amazing one in Canada !

I experienced other programs , before I met the Guarasci family I also met other people who own programs , I dont have to sell anyone on this program students who are serious about education and serious about there future will know what they feel is best for them and make there own choices in life as I have made mine. This will always be my Home Away from Home.

I Came To Canada from Tiawan in University program 2004 for english language study

from May to December I was successful in completion of program .

I stay to good homestay house in St. Catharines, and enjoy Canada very much .

The Guarasci Program are family to everyone the new people who come and even remain family with many who came from the past ,,, I meet many new asian friends and freinds from Brasil and also Iran, and Columbia I liked that I am able to speak alot of english to help improve my speaking ...

I celebrated my 21st birthday in Canada and it was nice to have a cake and also I never exspected to get presents and I did from the Guarasci Family a nice celebration for me .. a really nice party I will always remember ,,,

my english was not strong and they helped me gain confidence and my english improved alot Iam now in a good job in Mexico at a bank successful ... and attending night classes of University ... in my city Saltillo Mx.

We still communicate as much as possible they are my second family ...

I will return home to Canada for vacation soon as I can as every year they tell me COME HOME !!!!!!!!!!!!
